The Rogers family opened the first Mark’s franchise in Newfoundland in the Village Mall, serving local retail customers in the greater St. John’s area with quality products and trusted brands …. but we felt we could achieve more!

With considerable retail growth and new store locations, our franchise owners decided to grow what they felt was an untapped local B2B business opportunity. So, with a full-time sales manager in place, we developed and grew our commercial client base which eventually became know as Mark’s Commercial.

It wasn’t long after an increased client base and a desire to develop a greater customer service experience, we invested in multi-head embroidery machines, and later DTF heat press machines, to have a top-of-the-line decoration technology to enhance our branding capabilities to give us more control, better quality and quicker lead times for creating logoed apparel for our clients.

We continued our steady growth thanks to the continued trust and loyalty of our many new and current commercial clients. It was at this point we opened our first separate and dedicated showroom on Allston Street in Mount Pearl for our clients to visit and discuss how Mark’s Commercial (then called Imagewear) could help brand and market their image.

However, it wasn’t long before we outgrew our location on Allston Street. So, with that in mind, our owners made the investment to move to our Allston Street location to 37 Bremigens Blvd. in Paradise. Now, our sales staff, accounting personnel and our in-house decoration facility is all under all one roof! This location has been a HUGE hit with our many clients! With our updated and modern showroom, our many friends and clients have found it a desirable and inviting space to discuss how Mark’s Commercial can help with their business’s image and apparel.

We are strengthened by our commitment to local business by partnering with more community organizations and expanding our presence across the east coast of Newfoundland’s commercial, industrial, and public sectors.
